Jesse van Ruller's solo on "This Could Be The Start of Something Big"

A year after graduating from the Hilversum conservatory and winning the Thelonious Monk Jazz Guitar Competition, Jesse van Ruller recorded his debut CD in 1996. He was 24 at the time.

Here's the last track from that album "This Could Be The Start of Something Big." And actually, it was. His career was really taking off after that album. Of course the Monk prize must have opened many doors too. But with such incredible talent, what can you expect?
